The X- LAB Cell Separation System is designed to separate, and harvest a programmable volume of target cell populations from bone marrow, peripheral blood, cord blood samples, frozen cells, or cell cultures in a closed, sterile device. Customizable process programming, automated separation of samples into three chambers, and highly sensitive infrared sensors for cell sorting help ensure consistent, reliable, efficient, high-recovery results.
Processing data can be transferred to ThermoGenesis’ DataTrak software to provide GMP processing monitoring and reporting information.

The X-LAB® System is designed to rapidly isolate mononuclear cells from various sources in a closed, sterile, semi-automated fashion without the need for densitygradient media.

The X-LAB® System is a sedimentation-based process that quickly and reliably isolates mononuclear cells without the need for density gradient media or manual transfer steps. Traditional separation methods are open, manual processes that inherently introduce the risk of contamination as well as cell loss due to the multiple tedious processing steps. Contrary to these methods, the X-LAB System provides consistently high MNC isolation quickly without the dependence on highly skilled laboratory personnel and is therefore cost-effective and provides the standardization needed in a busy processing facility.
